Publications & Further Reading
The KSA knows from experience how hard it can be to get hold of honest,
accurate, unbiased and contemporary information about Klinefelter's Syndrome.
To counteract this, in addition to our many other sources of information and
help, we have produced two guides filled with scientific background, advice &
useful information. The booklets have been compiled with the help of
medical professionals and are the start of a larger series we have planned.

| As well as general information
on KS the book tackles issues that specifically affect adults with KS,
including symptoms, testosterone supplements, surgery, maintaining healthy
bones and what the future holds. |
Whether diagnosed ante-natally
or during the school years, a boy with KS can be given every chance for
success. This booklet tackles medical and educational issues and gives
guidelines to supporting parents through these most demanding of years. |
Currently just an
unfinished 11 page draft, this research paper gives advice to parents &
teachers into how to improve learning for boys with KS. Backed up by
references &, in places, rather technical, it aims to provide the framework
for a parent/teacher approach to developing an individual learning plan.

There is a good book of facts on the
Turner's Syndrome website. This great site has simple, yet
valuable info, and reflects the good work put in by this Danish
organisation. Turners' Syndrome is, in some ways, analogous to
Klinefelter's Syndrome but is the female equivalent 45X0.
In the past, before we had our new "Guide for..." series of booklets,
we issued a booklet written by Dr SG Ratcliffe, the renown guru of KS in
young people. This booklet is reproduced here as a
web page an
e-Book and as a
printable PDF
document. Guy's & St. Thomas' Hospital (NHS) produce a short
leaflet for their doctors to distribute. Click
